Images take over social media
Image based social media score high with users. However, research by Forrester Research shows that big brands do not always make full use of visual social media.
According to researcher Allison Smith research shows that images are increasingly important in social networks such as Twitter and Facebook, especially with the growth of Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr. Young consumers seem to mostly use Instagram or Snapchat and they seem to have a headstart on big brands. Forrester Research´s report has some great suggestions for using visual social media networks and consumer behaviour.
