Renz highlights new additions at IPEX 2017

Renz will be showcasing its newest portfolio addition, the Argos F400 cold UV coating machine with its innovative cold UV curing technology, at IPEX 2017, October 31 to November 3 2017, NEC, Birmingham.

The highly flexible flat coating system can be used in handfed, automatic and inline mode to digital print systems. It can run at up to 45 m/minute or 6000 A3/hour and handle a maximum paper width of 400mm. There is an optional feeder/stacker and optional coating pre-heating. There are also IR Lamps if needed.

Iain Bullock, Renz UK Managing Director says: “This machine has been the ‘go to’ coating machine for all the main digital players over the last couple of years, working beautifully behind the big digital presses, notably Indigo. We are delighted to be able to present it to the UK market for the first time.”

Renz will also show the new super quick Bindomatic Accel Cube and Accel Ultra thermal cover binding machines. Designed with the high-end user in mind, the third-generation thermal cover binding machine boasts double the loading capacity and has cut the processing time in half. The A4 portrait bound handles 1 to 360 sheets of 80 gsm paper and document spine widths from 1.5 to 36 mm.

Other systems being demonstrated will include the Punch 500 heavy duty punch, AP 300 Compact automated punch and MOBI 500 semi-automated ring wire binding machine for books and calendars. The Renz desktop DTP 340 semi-automated punch and ECL 360 electric Ring Wire closing machine will complete the line up.

Bullock comments: “IPEX, has always been a good show for Renz, even the ExCel cycle! which was effectively a finishing show in the end, bought some nice orders our way. There is some big kit at IPEX 2017 and that will attract potential customers.”

He adds: “Renz has grown and built our reputation and contacts in the industry over the years by being in front of a relevant audience whenever it can.”

Renz is the world’s largest providers of punching and binding systems. It continually strives to provide innovative solutions. It has addressed pressures in the finishing sector from the print-on-demand market with faster, more automated equipment. Its main emphasis is on wire binding and Renz has the widest range of punching and binding machines.
