Docker: building cloud apps for any OS

Building and distributing apps can be done in many ways, but if, like Yelp, Ebay and Spotify, you want an app which works with any system and is distributed via the cloud to registered users Docker is one of the best solutions.

Docker apps do not need an operating system, are very compact and easy to update. Bleacher, a division of Turner Sport, uses Docker to inform sportsmen of events and other news of their favourite hobby. Docker is free and open source, but you´ll need to pay for support and training. It is one of the fastest growing communities of big and small software developers and much needed competition for Google, Microsoft and Apple. If you are looking for a way to distribute your content in a controlled manner to any and all electronic devices, Docker is definitely worth a look.
