HelloPrint collects €3 million

Bb160718 Helloprint SkybarThe new Dutch print company HelloPrint has managed to collect €3M to ensure growth both in the Netherlands and abroad. Investor Gert Jan Munneke also contributed. CEO Hans Scheffer understands HelloPrint´s attraction. “Many start ups don´t have a proven business model. We do.”

Hans Scheffer is not afraid of digitalization of the print industry, he says in an interview in Executive Finance. “Our business model where we connect producers to clients is unique. No one does that. It is quite complex to make it scaleable. At the moment we are working with about 100 international suppliers, whilst our competitors work with their own production facilities. I can be honest and say we are not impacted by digitalization. We only see more print. Of course, the volumes are lower. But with new markets to replace the high volumes. Small edition packaging, photo products that are being printed at home, have become very popular because we all have our content on our phone. The market for printed products is changing, but digitalization is a driver.
