Fespa: optimism in sign market

The total sign market is $42.8 billion worldwide. Half of the production of posters, displays, POP materials, banners, flags, stands and fleetmarking is done with an inkjet printer. Retail is the biggest user. Because of the yearly growth in turnover (approx 1%) Fespa thinks that the optimism and trust in the market is also increasing. This according to Fespa Netherlands, based on research by Smithers Pira. 80% of respondents is optimistic about their company. And half of sign companies is said to have plans to invest in digital machines. The results of this research is available for Fespa members. It is available for €250 (ex VAT) for non-members.
