CO2 neutral printing at no charge to customer

BrunelPrint in Bristol claims to be the first real CO2 neutral print shop in the UK that does not charge its customers the compensationary premiums for this. BrunelPrint which uses 3 HP Indigos and 2 Speedmasters, knows exactly how much CO2 emissions are involved in a print job. Electricity, gas, transport and materials are included. These costs are not charged to the customer, but are absorbed by the print shop and included in its marketing budget. The company sees it as a marketing campaign which should be paid from the marketing budget. The fees are donated to a drinkwater project in Kenya and a project for the protection of the rain forest in Papua New Guinea.
