The Netherlands, not so bad at innovation

The European Patent Office announced that 2014 was a record year for Dutch patent applications. Kenedict visualized who requested the 8,000 innovative patents and how they related to each other. Unilever, DSM, Shell, NXP and ASML are, together with Philips, the driving force behind these Dutch Innovations. Health and communications are the most important patent areas.
