Sustainability, Green Marketing and Media-project in Copenhagen

Dienstencentrum KopenhagenSustainability is not a game. But with an internet game you can teach young people how important sustainability is. The Dutch independent consultancy agency Dienstencentrum is the organizing partner of an international project to create such a game.

The project partners met during the third conference in Copenhagen, on the 9th & 10th of October 2014.

During two days, they worked on Green Marketing and the development of the internet-game.

During the first day of the conference Green Marketing was the central point of discussion. Based on the research that is be done in the summer period, Aido presented the concept goals, starting situation and other relevant aspects of the new course.  Over the coming period Aido will develop the learning materials.

During the second day the group worked on the development of the internet game. The project will develop an internet game to make target groups aware of sustainability in the creative industries. IGS and Dienstencentrum showed the design of the game and gave a presentation on the development.

The main goals of this project

The main goals of this project are to develop Sustainability games, both physically and internet based and the development of training materials on Green Marketing. The games and the course Green Marketing can be used for both educational and training activities for open enrollment and in-company training. The games and training are tailored to the needs of students in schools and employees of companies in the creative industries. One of the goals of this conference was to determine the elements of the physical sustainability game that have to be adjusted to the regional situations in the different countries. The Spanish partner, AIDO, prepared a workshop on Green Marketing.
