OKI buys Seiko´s large format segment

OKI and Seiko signed an agreement on 8 July 2015 for the acquisition of wide format  arm of  SII, Seiko I Infotech Inc (SIIT), by OKI Data Corporation.
OKI Data Corporation and SII signed a stock purchase agreement for the acquisition of all SIIT shares held by SII, while OKI´s European and US subsidiaries have each signed asset purchase agreements with SII´s representative businesses in those regions. As agreed the acquisition will be finalised by 1 October 2015. The transaction will not affect the various products and services currently provided” by SIIT, which consist of “products and services related to wide-format printers”.
