Lessons from the NYT 2020 report. more attention to the reader and further print digital integration

New York Times´ 2020 Group has some recommendations in its new report which are important also companies other than newspaper: pay more attention to what readers/consumers want and even more attention to the integration of print and digital. The report, which can be downloaded via this link, highlights another remarkable trend, readers have become more important for revenue than advertisers. In other words the end of the old newspaper business model and possibly source of the problems of companies such as De Telegraaf (biggest newspaper in the Netherlands).
