E-books increasingly popular because of price difference

boek:eboekNumbers released by the Dutch Centraal Boekhuis (central book repository) show that one in every 20 books sold is an e-book. And this number will continue to rise. Over the past quarter 583,277 e-books were sold, an increase of 22% compared to Q1 2014. Since beginning of this year the renting of e-books has doubled to 312,800 copies.
