Dutch reprographic house tests new HP technology

HP announced that ADC Reproservice BV will be the first beta client to test the HP PageWide XL5000 MultiFunction Printer (MFP) for its in-house wide format prints. The printer will also improve productivity and workflow.

The HP PageWide XL 5000 MFP is fast and efficient in both colour and black-and-white. It can save up to 30 percent on production costs. The printer has fixed heads lined up in arrays. The MFP offers small and medium reprographic companies and central reprographic departments (CRDs) mid-volume technical document production at a speed of up to 14 D/A1-size prints per minute. The printer was announced in April and is part of the HP PageWide XL Printer portoflio.

ADC Reproservice will use the HP PageWide XL 5000 MFP to produce technical documents both in colour and monochrome. Also the detailed infrastructure drawings for governmental projects and GIS charts can be printed a high speed. The first page is printed within 30 seconds.
