Dutch printer in Pro Carton Awards finals

Dutch cardboard producer Snel has made it to the Pro Carton ECMA Award 2016 finals, in the “Volume Markets” category. For the design of its perfume mini spray Reload asked design bureau Kasper from Ghent, Belgium to help.

The Pro Carton ECMA Award is in its 20th year. During this period the awards have grown to be the most prestigious award in Europe in cardboard packaging.

Entries are judged on design, structure and functionality. The awards are a good indication of what is possible in the field of cardboard packaging, the most sustainable and innovative packaging material of this moment.

Snel´s entry is a perfume box for Reload (ww.byreload.com). Design agency Kasper in Belgium has created unique and sophisticated packaging for this refillable perfume. By allowing it into the finals ECMA´s international jury acknowledges the uniqueness of the packaging and Snel´s craftsmanship. During the award festivities in Cannes on 15 September the winner will be announced.
