Digital more economic at 115,000 labels
Not so long ago common knowledge was that smaller quantities were less expensive to produce digitally. However, it appears that also larger quantities of labels are more economic than conventional techniques.
One example is a 70×155 mm label printed on the Screen Truepress Jet L350UV.
Very detailed calculations show that the break even point between flexo and Screen inkjet is at 115,000 for this type of label, 4551 running metres.
Because of the fact that many labels are printed in significantly smaller quantities, Screen invites everyone involved in the purchase and production of labels, to have a look at the calculations. Screen´s Wim Koning will send you the calculations upon request. Mail him at email@example.com
