PRESS RELEASE

Deborah Corn to bring Printspiration to IPEX 2017 as second keynote speaker

Deborah Corn, the architect of the world’s largest online community of print stakeholders, will address IPEX 2017 (www.ipex.org) as the keynote speaker on the show’s second day, Wednesday November 1st. Deborah Corn is Principal, Chief Blogger and Intergalactic Ambassador to The PrinterverseTM for Print Media Centre. Corn brings more than 25 years’ experience in advertising, marketing and customer relationships in the print industry. Her presentation to the IPEX audience will discuss customer relationships, trends in print buying and Printspiration – her own unique take on what purchasers are really looking for and how to relate to them as a service provider.

As well as being an internationally recognised speaker and one of the industry’s most exciting media personalities, Corn works with printers, suppliers and manufacturers of all shapes and sizes, helping them develop relationships with their customers. Leading the way in social engagement, she is the host of weekly Twitter chat #PrintChat and the founder and cultivator of Print Production Professionals, the largest print group on LinkedIn. She is also the founder International Print Day, a 24-hour, world-wide celebration of print that, this year, takes place on October 18th.

“Deborah Corn is one of the print and communications industry’s most powerful advocates globally,” comments James Matthews-Paul, Content Curator for IPEX 2017. “Over the last several years she has worked tirelessly to highlight the importance of customer relationships and the power of print to inspire, engage and activate people, both professionally and in their personal lives. It’s a privilege to be able to welcome such an invested and invigorating speaker to our growing Print In Action schedule and benefit from her wealth of knowledge.”

IPEX 2017’s mission to present a new vision of the industry for printers and their partners is perfectly exemplified by the addition of Corn to its schedule. Her session will explore several hot-button topics in print buying and client management, referencing her extensive knowledge of communications with brand and agency clients, and identifying which print applications appeal to the broader world. She will delve into the successes of the North American industry and explain how ‘less is more’ in terms of delivering value to customers.

“I’m honoured to be asked to keynote at the world’s longest-running print event,” says Deborah Corn. “IPEX 2017’s content programme is a perfect match with my own mission – to provide printspiration, and to help the community find information and resources to create relevant and valuable print.”

Rob Fisher, Event Director for IPEX 2017, adds: “The IPEX Print In Action programme will set a new tone for event content in the print world. Deborah Corn is recognised and respected internationally and her knowledge and unique take on the industry will make her an enthralling keynote speaker at IPEX this year.”
