Mimaki acquires part in textile printing

Following in the footsteps of EFI and Ricoh Mimaki strengthens its position in the fast growing textile printing market. The printer manufacturer has acquired 100% of shares of Italian La Meccanica SpA. La Meccanica produces specialist textile print machinery. Negotiations started in July 2015 and ended in a complete takeover of all shares of the company.
La Meccanica is headquartered in Bergamo, Italy and was founded over 40 years ago.
Mimaki is especially interested in La Meccanica´s know-how in the field of digital print as well as the fame of the company.
Mimaki intends to strengthen its position and strengthen their current portfolio.
