KBA offers a novel, interactive exhibition experience

At Drupa 2016, too, KBA offers visitors to its stand an impressive exhibition experience to do with the exhibits. This year KBA has expanded on how customers’ experience its stand with a new factor. This includes an innovative showroom concept implemented by the press manufacturer together with a leading German telecommunications supplier, T-Systems, and the world’s leading company in the field of CRM, Salesforce. The visitors can access digital information directly on their smartphones about the presses on show in hall 16 tailored to their choices. This can also be downloaded if desired.

Interested visitors receive digital information on the press exhibits tailored to their wishes(1)

A new app from T-Systems makes this possible. KBA also contributed to its development. Visitors install the CEM app on their mobile device. iPads at the information stands next to the presses and beacons (NFC senders) directly at the presses connect to the app and provide the visitor with information on the machines exhibited. The visitors can also download brochures, technical information, photos and video clips. Visitors now no longer have to queue at the individual information stands and no longer have to carry informational material around with them. The trade show visitors can evaluate the digital information they have collected at home in peace and use it as a basis for investment decisions.

The interactive showroom at the Drupa stand delivers a host of advantages for the visitors and KBA: Information is gathered individually and sustainably. The offer is transparent and it opens up possibilities for interaction. It is mobile, modern and fast. Furthermore, KBA has to chance to analyse and evaluate how many visitors go to which presses and what information is important to them. Based on this data conclusions can be drawn regarding the level of interest in certain exhibits.

Naturally, KBA as press manufacturer still continues to rely on printed information which can be gathered from the individual info stands and from the KBA staff on the stand. Every visitor can thus choose how they would like to receive information based on their wishes.
