Fujifilm at Fespa: Introduction of the Onset R40LT, new UV ink technology, new films and laminates

Fujifilm to display its widest range of inkjet solutions at FESPA 2015

Fujifilm is displaying an extensive array of its mid-range and high-end printing platforms at FESPA 2015 (Cologne, May 18^th – 22^nd). On its stand (S9 – Hall 6), Fujifilm is demonstrating the latest advancements in its wide format portfolio and showcasing how print service providers can more easily gain access to scaleable, high end platforms that can grow with their business, thanks to the introduction of the Inca Onset R40LT. The full-width array Onset R40LT a future-proof and cost-effective wide format flatbed printer targeted at print service providers that are considering a standard mid-range digital flatbed machine. Making its first appearance at FESPA, the printer is distinguished by a more user-friendly interface and guarantees high quality results with no banding at higher throughput speeds than scanning head technology.

New UV ink technology with launch of Uvijet OW at FESPA 2015

Fujifilm today announces the launch of an advanced new UV ink technology at FESPA 2015, called Uvijet OW. The newly launched ink range, which is used in the Inca Onset series, has been developed specifically with improved adhesion properties so that it can be used on a wider range of rigid and flexible plastic substrates, while retaining the high jetting standard and printing reliability associated with all Uvijet inks.

GlassDeco Standard

GlassDeco Standard is a self-adhesive, monomeric, transparent PVC film ideal for the application of promotional messages onto flat surfaces to create POS materials, window graphics and glass decorations. The glossy surface of the 100 micron thick vinyl guarantees excellent colour reproduction with solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV inks. The adhesive is transparent and easy to remove, making GlassDeco Standard suitable for short to medium term indoor and outdoor applications with a resistance of up to two years.

1D SmartApply FR

This self-adhesive monomeric vinyl is compatible with solvent, latex and UV inks and allows print service providers to create applications suitable for flat surfaces. The white, glossy coating of 1D SmartApply FR guarantees brilliant colours, and the grey adhesive eliminates even the highest contrast. Thanks to its innovative air channel technology, 1D SmartApply FR is easy to apply by even the most inexperienced users with bubbles minimised. The B1 certificate makes the material suitable for indoor use.

HighClear Laminate anti-graffiti

This PVC-free self-adhesive HighClear product is the latest addition to the euromedia polyester laminate film portfolio. Perfect for window applications, the material can be used in conjunction with the established euromedia OneWayVision, a monomeric vinyl with 40:60 perforation, to enhance application durability. Due to its good dimensional stability, HighClear Laminate anti-graffiti is ideal for finishing backlit films and photo applications. The laminate also offers protection against mechanical damage and fading, and can be easily cleaned from graffiti.

RollScreen Standard

The classical design of euromedia roll-up RollScreen Standard is highlighted by black endcaps on the sides of the cassette and the foot. RollScreen Standard is an affordable solution that offers a reliable mechanism, long-life spring and warp-resistant housing. The specially reinforced holder for the pole also guarantees perfect stability.

RollScreen Curve

The euromedia RollScreen Curve is a wide base rollup with a stylish and popular design. The special steel base makes the system extremely stable while minimising costs. The print is stuck on at the bottom and firmly clamped at the top. Each system is packed in a padded carry bag.
