Canon takes over Swedish Axis Communications

axisNearly 2,5 billion Euros is what Canon paid for Axis which, according to Axis, is market leader in the field of network video technology and is mainly known for security cameras and video surveillance.
It is the biggest takeover ever for the Japanese printer and camera manufacturer.
Axis was established in 1984 in Lund, Sweden. The company has 1,600 employees in 40 countries.
